Richard Keagan-Bull has been a trustee at Walsingham Support since 2013, bringing his invaluable experience to our Governing Body.

In 2017, Richard put his life story into words, and from October 18th 2022, “Don’t Put Us Away – Memories of a Man with Learning Disabilities” will be on a shelf in a book store near you.

It begins with his birth, when his mother was told that Richard would never amount to anything, and tells the story of his struggles through school, growing up in 1970’s England in a world that was not always welcoming, but overcoming the challenges he faced to have a career as a University Researcher, a place on our board of trustees, and, of course, a published author amongst other achievements.
