Deven has been involved with Walsingham support since 2003, and was attracted to join the board of Walsingham Support by the alignment of the organisation’s values with his own; those of supporting the less advantaged, the rights of individuals and promoting equality and diversity in society.

He has worked for over 40 years in health and social care, housing, and Charity sectors with 30 years of experience in senior management and executive roles at local, regional and national levels. Deven is currently the CEO of Community Connex, an established and leading West London-based health and social care organisation serving the whole community.

Deven has extensive Committee and Board experience, including key strategic boards for Learning Disability & Autism, local Safeguarding Board, Pan London Disability Hate Crime working group and Harrow Community Action Board, a consortium of VCS organisations.
