Tom joined Walsingham Support on 17th October 2022 as Director of Operations and Engagement. Tom has had a career in social care spanning over 20 years starting as a support worker in learning disabilities and fell in love with the work.

Since then, Tom has worked in a number of roles and brings a wealth of experience in learning disabilities, autism, brain injuries, mental health and work with older people.

Tom is excited to join Walsingham Support and was attracted by the organisation’s values and rich history of supporting people to achieve great things in their lives.

In his role Tom wants to ensure that colleagues are given the skills and confidence to be creative and innovative in their work.

In his free time Tom loves music, especially playing the guitar. He is a keen supporter of Manchester City Football Club, and enjoys cold water swimming, spending time with family and friends, reading and walking his two dogs Lola and Mabel.
